This blog will follow the progress of a garden project, being carried out by Lanyon Bowdler Solicitors in conjunction with Mike Russell Garden Design, for Severndale Specialist School.
Severndale Specialist School caters for pupils aged two and a half years old to the age of 19. All the pupils have either profound, severe or moderate learning difficulties.
The school offers superb facilities for the pupils. Every time we have been there we have experienced a relaxed and happy environment.
An area has been identified – the header photo of this blog shows part of it – that would benefit from a feature garden. This enclosed space is exposed to direct sunlight and therefore needs shade from the sun. Our garden will offer just that, plus an interactive, fun place for the pupils to relax.
This project will also be entered into the 2011 Shrewsbury Flower Show, in the form of an outdoor garden. After all we have our reputation to uphold having won the class at the 2010 event.
